• Written quote with an explanation of all the work to be done• Removal of old sealer & wood stain with an environmentally safe stripping solution that will not harm your pets, plants or grass
• Low-pressure power wash to gently clean the wood without damaging it
• Treatment of wood with a neutralizing agent to brighten and prepare the wood for the sealer / stain
• Allow the wood to dry several days, depending on the weather, to a moisture content of 12%. Using a sophisticated moisture meter, we will electronically read the moisture content in the wood to insure it is dry enough for the wood stain / sealer to properly bond.
• Lightly sand all hand rails and seating surfaces
• Seal / stain your wood by hand with a penetrating oil based semi-transparent sealer or wood stain, guaranteed not crack or peel, to protect your wood
